Fifty days after the Resurrection of Jesus Christ the Jews celebrated the Feast of the First Fruits. This day has become known to Christians as the Day of Pentecost. This day, after 10 days of waiting, as the disciples were gathered in the upper room; the Holy Spirit descended upon them as tongues of fire. When the disciples left the room, they left as different men and women from those who had entered.
